To describe the hull - it is a triple step hull -with a pad effect. Also multiple spray rails and a double chine. The third step is more to do with speed in choppy weather or following seas. The steps are also progressively tapered (depth of steo decreases towards the chine). The concept is more around top speeds than my other Technohull designs - but we have still managed to create a design that works well in rough water.
I have dialled in more attck to the aft step and created more stern lift - thus making a boat that flies very level. This in turn in rougher weather means that the bow is working well and helping to smooth the ride. The pad effect and spray rails are also about increasing stability and keeping the boat riding very level.
Hope this helps - without giving away too much!
